Upstairs it is possible to visit the “Mystery Room” which houses an alternative collection that includes original artifacts from the 19th and 20th centuries relating to “real” magical rituals from around the world, Fortune telling, Alchemy and “mysterious” Science.

Decorated like a Fortune teller’s room from the early 1900s, the “Mystery Room” also seems to house the ghost of an ancient sorcerer!
As they say … “believe it or not”!

In the place that originally housed the projection booth of the Cinema, a “mini” Cinema has been set up where it is possible to see early twentieth century films by Georges Méliès, illusionist and pioneer of special effects in the film industry.

The same area also hosts a small collection of original magic lanterns from the early 1900s, an exhibition of movie posters on the theme of illusionism from the 1950s to today, and some original posters and photos from the Cinema “Liesma” (the original cinema in this building).
