Magic Show “Let’s Wonder Together!”

It’s Laughter, Tricks and Joy Experienced Together!
Inspired by a joint performance at the Riga Festival, the illusionist Pezzoli family decided to combine the most fun, impressive and surprising magic tricks in one show – this means that different tricks will be dedicated to different age categories and will be interesting for everyone.

Since the Pecolli family has traveled a lot around the world, this will certainly be reflected in the mood of the show – let’s go with the Eastern Wizard to distant India, let’s look into the secrets of Harry Potter’s magic, let’s try to understand the Magic of Dreams, let’s go to France, Italy and even Egypt to look for what wonders live there.

During the show, such magical inventions as the “Time Machine” and the “Old Things Restoration Machine” will also be demonstrated. Dante will surprise the most sensitive and mystical lovers with some nerve-wracking miracles and will demonstrate mind reading.
In this show, attractive and surprising tricks are brought to life with the active involvement of the audience, making every moment special for both children and adults. The Pecolli family emphasizes that real joy and surprise come when we experience them together!

Mysterious magic performance

An esoteric room, only 13 spectators, a mysterious space, a transformative experience… Enrico and Dace Pezzoli’s idea for a unique performance between mysticism, illusionism, storytelling and theatre. Tarot cards, divination, esotericism, legends and even ghosts stories… Various superstitions and popular beliefs will be explored topics. A performance with active audience participation.

Aurelio Paviato’s (Italy) original play “Mysteries of the History of Illusionism” provides an insight into the centuries-old tradition of illusionism, rooted in the works of Renaissance figures such as Luca Pacioli, Girolamo Cardano, Giovanni Garzoni and Pietro Aretino. These men were not only mathematicians and philosophers, but also active researchers in the world of magic and illusion.

The show offers a fascinating journey through the history of illusionism from the 12th century onwards. The tricks are performed in a modernised style and take the audience on a journey back in time to meet such historical figures as Reginald Scot (1538-1599), Giuseppe Pinetti da Orbetello (1750-1800), Max Malini (1873-1942) and others. Each performance is accompanied by a narration by the performer about the origin of the trick and its creator, giving the audience an enlightening insight into the history and behind the scenes of magic.

The art of illusionism has been influenced by various sciences and observations about the world. Magic tricks are based on principles that transcend human perception, using psychology, mathematics, optics and mechanics to create an illusion that enchants and amazes. The artist performs these ancient tricks in a modernised way, creating a surprising and entertaining atmosphere that will leave no spectator indifferent.

Aurelio Paviato, author of the show and illusionist, is one of the foremost experts on the history of magic internationally.

Silent film “Terror Island”, starring magician, actor and stuntman Harry Houdini.

Harry Houdini (1874-1926) was a world-famous Hungarian-American magician who thrilled audiences with his extraordinary tricks, such as escaping from a crazy shirt or escaping from a prison cell. Khudini’s most famous trick was escaping from the “Chinese torture chamber”, where he is locked upside down with his legs locked in his mouth. All of Houdini’s tricks were based on physical strength, skill and agility, and will be seen to great effect in the film.

The film will be accompanied by pianist Rihards Pleshanov.

“The little man of dreams” – it’s a show that combines circus, magic, and theater. Today, the little man of dreams will reveal a place of illusions where the impossible meets reality and reality becomes impossible.

Featuring Latvian, Lithuanian and International artists as the illusionist “Mantas Wizard” (winner of international awards such as the Abano Terme Trophy (Italy) and the “Colombe d’Or” (France)); the Riga duo “Elastic,” who have toured the world for years, Lelde Feldmane, an amazing dancer and acrobat from Riga or Tiffany Sauvage (USA), “the new Georgia Wonder,” with her show reconstructing a historic act from nearly two centuries ago and Vadim Master from Latvia, with his eccentric performances.

“The little man of dreams” is a visual and engaging show that will amaze you and, perhaps, make you daydream!

Historians, researchers, collectors and scholars of illusionism and the magical art from all over the world, will meet in Riga, Latvia, for the 10th Edition of the EMHC (European Magic History Conference), to discuss recent research and discoveries relating to the history of illusionism through a series of lectures. Antique magic tricks, memorabilia and posters from different collections will be exhibited and the conference will culminate with a performance organized especially for the attendees.

A show by illusionist Rafael

Rafael is an award-winning magician, inventor, comedian, illusionist and world traveller.

He has appeared on stages all over the world, including Wintergarten Varieté in Berlin, the Opera House in Blackpool, Theater Carré in Amsterdam, Crocus City Hall Moscow, L’Olympia in Paris and performances before the Royal family at the Théâtre Princesse Grace in Monaco. Rafael is considered one of the top magicians in today’s European magic scene.

In his new show illusionist takes us to his ‘Room of Wonder’, where nothing is as it seems. On the border between reality and fantasy, Rafael creates a universe in which magic, humor, circus and visual theater complement each other perfectly.

Modern theater play

In this play by Italian writer Italo Calvino, actor and magician Dante Pecoli will tell the story of what happens to the main characters when they suddenly lose their ability to speak…. Then they continue their stories in a different way, in this case by using Tarot cards that magically appear one after the other, telling their unique, mysterious story, which can have a different story each time. What story will Dante tell you this time?

The performance is supported by the Italian Embassy in Latvia. The director Gianluca Barbadori (Italy).  The premiere is planned in 16.09.2023. Tickets will be available at www.fienta.lv

Quest game

An engaging, educational and magical quest game that takes participants to 1930s Latvia, where they will try to solve the mysterious disappearance of the famous illusionist Conundrum. Intuition, wit and knowledge will be needed to solve the mysteries even of Leonardo da Vinci’s secret codes.

Theatrical circus performance for families

Alice in wonderland, is a theatrical circus performance by Italian director Enrico Pezzoli, based on the atmosphere and events of Alice in Wonderland. A musical attraction with bright circus numbers, magic tricks, modern stage special effects and active audience participation. The costumes are designed by Elita Patmalniece. The artists are  from America, Italy, Czech Republic, Switzerland and Latvia.
